Halloween 4: While being transported to a maximum-security facility, the evil Michael Myers awakes from a coma that lasted 10 years, kills the guards watching him, and escapes. He now heads back to Haddonfield, looking to kill again.
Gladiator: An epic saga of power and loyalty. A power thirsty Commodus mercilessly murders his father so he can become ruler of Rome. He then orders the death of Maximus, one of his father’s closet friends. Maximus flees, only to be captured and forced to become a Gladiator. Eventually, finding his way back to Rome, Maximus hopes to end the reign of this cruel leader.
Red River: One of the best American ventures is seriously a western Mutiny on the Bounty. Clift rejects the dominance of Wayne (radiant in an unsympathetic role) throughout a key livestock drive. Captivating photography by Russell Harlan is coupled with an exciting Dimitri Tiomkin score. A movie you need to see. If you don’t pay close attention, you’ll miss Shelley Winters dancing around a campfire. Cast includes John Wayne, Montgomery Clift, Walter Brennan, Joanne Dru, John Ireland, Noah Beery, Paul Fix, Coleen Gray, Chief Yowlachie, and Hank Worden. (133 minutes, 1948)
Halloween H2O: She has faked her own death and changed her name to get away from Michael Myers. Now, 20 years later, Laura Strode is a teacher at a private school. When most of the students leave on a trip, Laura stays, along with her son and her girlfriend. It is Halloween night, and you guessed in, Michael Myers has found Laura, and is coming after all of them.
Crystal Heart: Youthful guy who should live his life like the “boy in a bubble,” restricted to a commanded atmosphere, creates a relation with a seductive stone singer with whom he’s fallen in love long-distance. Soft, unsurprising trip with music video parts from Kitaen. Cast includes Tawny Kitaen, Lee Curreri, Lloyd Bochner, Simon Andreu, Might Heatherly, and Marina Saura. (102 minutes, 1987)
Raise Your Voice: Arizona adolescent with an overprotective dad gets acknowledged at an acclaimed L.A. music conservatory for the summer. Upon emergence, positively nothing astonishing ever occurs but an unfriendly roommate, cool youthful professor, and an opponent for the cute British classmate. Did we reference the climactic performance? Duffs fans might like this; others have been urged.
